Out of Ashes

I am the child of survivors.

For the past thirty years I have known that my one mission in life is to tell the story of my parents experience in the concentration camps and in the ghettos and the war zones. I am not a writer and there are plenty of books on the shelves with plenty of brave stories in them.

I am an artist. My form of expression is on canvas. I undertook this project to tell the world of my parents story so that the world will never forget. So that someday, someone will look at these paintings and have a cold chill run down their spine, then they will understand why I had to tell these stories. My parents experience is not more momentous or horrible than other survivors. They are all harrowing, but for future generations...........

A  PICTURE IS  WORTH SIX  MILLION  WORDS.
